Is it possible to partially unban banned members. Only let them post in a specified sub-forum, they can't do karma actions (but can have their karma changed) and can't send pms. It is kind of like putting them in a cage for our amusement.

I dunno. I am going to be biased if I am to be completely honest. I think from a rational perspective banned people should be banned and this place is not the hardest place to 'get on"....that said, I would love slapping Sol or AHayes around or their ilk.

I remember we had a discussion about this a long time ago. It would be nice if the board software would automatically send the person a reminder, but it isn't possible without some tweaking.
