This is pretty cool. All the planes in the air right now, worldwide, giving name, direction, speed, model, etc.

Some will even allow you to see a view from the cockpit. I assume it's a simulated view using Google Earth cuz I can't load it from this machine.

I like sitting out on the porch and homing in on them with high-powered binocs on lazy days.

Have a look at Frankfurt or JFK. Whenever I'm flying through Frankfurt I try very hard not to think about Flightradar. That place is scary--when you take off at night you can sometimes spot dozens of planes waiting for their turn to land.

You can point the camera at a jet trail in the sky and find out what flight it is.

I live next to an airport, so now I am going to have to get it too.
Too bad it doesn't display military jets. I constantly have A-10s and F-15s cruising around over my house. Always curious about what they are up to.
