Didn't watch the video but I saw this headline on BBC. But the implication of this would imply that the brain itself is explicitly responsible for sexual orientation.
Not surprised because I wonder if all minds start out as inherently bisexual and set themselves as a specific orientation as it matures. Then to explain this would be a matter of suggesting the stroke damaged the part that determines sexuality, and upon recovering this function it rebooted and shifted in a different direction.

A person who has had a stroke or a severe brain injury can literally become a different person afterwards. I've personally seen it, sometimes it's mild, but sometimes their whole personality and what you thought you knew about them does a complete 180.

Likely that. I'd attribute it to brain's management of hormones, which in most cases reflects on the physical sex of the body when it starts maturing. But like I said, I was only thinking about the possibility. If not that, then I wonder how having a stroke would cause someone to switch from straight to gay? It implies some physical part of the brain is determining sexual orientation. To be able to switch would also imply that this part is capable of exhibiting both initially. IDK really. :dunno:
