Title: So... tonight i dreamt
Post by: ZEGH8578 on September 15, 2011, 12:12:43 PM
that i snuck into a big themepark, consisting of big grassy hills, in which people slid down them, by various means... mostly by tall, giraffe-shaped structures. i slid down one hill, crashed through lots of kids, and got chased by security and a very angry janitor. i dove down a cliff, landed flat on my belly, bounced up, and visited my old grannie (who isnt my grannie irl at all)

she was very sinister, and i knew she was hiding dead bodies in the house, of people in my family. i helped her throw out recycleable cardboard garbage.

then i had a shootout w some people, in a nearby mall. grannie was involved in the shootout of course. oddly, my irl deceased grandpa was having a coffee by a table, next to a cafeteria, not being involved. at some point, im alone w my brother and a younger female cousin, who suddenly realizes she has been shot in the back of the head, by a sniper. I check, and theres indeed hole in her skull. we check w grandma, and shes all smirky "no, no it wasnt meee  :zoinks: " and we're trying to let her know that this kind of behaviour is unacceptable.

of course irl, my grannie is totally sweet :I
//
it woulda been so cool to tell all this to these "dream interpreters"
my brother did once. "yeah, i dreamt my mother was suddenly growing long beards out her ass."
not kidding: the "therapist" (quack, my mother is into new age stuff) actually changed the topic :D HE BROUGHT IT UP by offering to analyze his latest dream :D

Are you sure you haven't got anything else mistakenly added to your weed? , it'd explain the dreams.  :P

It was a joke.

Could it be the fact you haen't smoked in a week that could be giving weird dreams? , as some kind of withdrawal symptom?

yes and no. weed makes me not dream so much.
when im off weed, i go back to dreaming "normal"

this... is normal :]

sometimes i almost envied peoples mundane little dreams, where they are chased by a killer, or they can fly.

in fact, now im curious wether it may be an aspie thing?
dreams reflect whats on your mind, and aspies have a lot of weird shit on their mind.

do you dream intensely weird dreams?

It was very odd , considering how before that point I hadn't seen my friends face yet (an online friend) , but I created one and knew it was him.  :orly:

Quite often in my dreams, people and places change forms yet retain their original identities throughout!   :orly:

Have you tried drinking some warm milk, sweetened with honey, before you go to bed, cuddling a special teddy bear, and borrowing one of PPK's weapons to protect your self from your dreams?

Sometimes I use guns in my dreams.

do they work?
do they fire?

most of the time, whenever i dream of guns, they dont fire.
i can only clearly recall one where it actually worked, i was defending a city ruin, w a hunting rifle :D

in one i ran around w an m60 machinegun, kicking doors down, pulling the trigger, for then to yell "ratatatata!"
so lame :I

I often dream about me being in the middle of a weird place and crawling, being too weak to stand up and feeling short of breath.

I often dream about me being in the middle of a weird place and crawling, being too weak to stand up and feeling short of breath.

Do you wake up feeling weak or short of breath after those dreams?  I have found that sometimes the way I feel in a dream
corresponds to some discomfort I am feeling while I sleep, such as a backache (or a full bladder!).   :nerd!:

Sometimes, I do wake up feeling short of breath, but not really weak. And scared if it's still night.

How many pillows do you sleep with?  Maybe you should think about elevating the head of the bed with a foam wedge or by putting blocks under the legs, especially while you are having problems with allergies.

That trick is also helpful for heartburn/acid reflux sufferers, it keeps the acid from getting all the way back up.

yesterday night, i dipped into nightmare realm
where i was trying to sleep - in the dream - and got filled with rythmic waves of "some evil presence" accompanied by a strong, deep noise, and a sensation of "windy hands" moving downwards, pulsating, under my blanket, and a smooth, sexy female voice telling me not to worry(oh, i worried)
i woke up exhaling forcefully through my tightened lips "fuuuu! fuuuuu!"

tonight i dreamt i was in a militia, and we were engaging enemies (other norwegians) in the forest. one of our own decided to shoot at toddlers, so we beat him up, then took him home to a friend of mine, where i grew up (my dreams often take me back to that neighborhood), and we kept beating on him, discussing how to proceed further. we mostly aggreed to lock him in the basement, and starve him to death :I

yes, it was indeed sleep paralysis, but much more dream-immersed than usually (my few other experiences of sleep paralysis i was "more awake", in this, i was deep in the dream world, untill i actually woke up)
