I never been to WP so I choose to just ignore any kind of drama that spills over here, so not really keeping up with it all. If someone says something i dont agree with Ill say something about it, but not necessarily argue about it. I guess I just deal with things on a personal level.

I think that these are the two issues I would be concerned with. Being an elder is a privilege and a certain level of unwritten respect of privacy is inferred in such a situation. Sounds like someone crying wolf. And posting anyone's PMs (that wasn't just some troll) is a no no. I don't know how any of this would go against any kind of "i2 policy", just seems like a shit thing to do.

Wasn't defending his behaviour at all. Was just saying he never been a cunt to me, so not really able to do it back. I have noted some of the things he has said, and yes would
agree that 'cuntish' defines it - but i also seen him say stuf in his posts that have indicated he doesn't want to continue down that road. That could just be my interpretation, as
i don't think anyone else picked up on it.

Pretty much, at least at WP. So long as you aren't calling someone something, or calling a group of people something (this was a new rule I managed to add after the Iamnotahomo fiasco), you can get away with implication. There are more than two standards, there are dozens.

It seems a fine line when it comes to personal insults, direct or implied, and may have more to do with frequency of attack and who actually complains about it. Though yes, care with words is used and avoiding the word 'you' takes away the personal part so both of your examples might be viewed as personal. Saying, people with that type of fetish shouldn't be allowed around children, would be a better example of careful wording of personal attack. Adding the words, I think, to it would also clarify opinion of a subject matter.

Bodaccea, I admire you for standing up for your opinions. I would agree with you that Benji is not a moron and I can see how he can be funny and engaging when he isn't trying to prove himself to be some kind of alpha male. I think that he and MLA are pretty funny with their back and forth "piece of meat" comments, even though that does seem to be an alpha male demonstration. I'm not fond of the way Benji seemed to accuse CG of lying and threatened her that he would post her PMs. I would be disinclined to confide much to him by PM, but maybe that's just me.

Well, he and MLA had been arguing and Benji hinted that he might post screenshots of the Elder's Forum outside the board if he was de-eldered. Blackmail, in other words.
He was called out on this and assured to me that he wouldn't do such a thing.
A day or two later he did. He hinted he might post information from his PMs with CG to prove some point or another, in spite of CG not being involved in anything at all, apart from having exchanged PMs with him.
There's more, of course, and if you look back a year or more, Benji showed much of the same behaviour before leaving here. He wants this thing to be about people here to gang up on him, on Penty, etc, about bullying and such, and to be honest they are not that unlike each other because very little is ever their fault. It's always someone else.
Basically, Benji's been busy proving that he'd sell his own mother if there was something to gain.

I think with this Benji/MLA stuff and this is just my reading, MLA generally writes in ways that to my eyes seem sound and are easy to follow and logical. Benji generally doesn't. I can only speculate on what he is trying to say and most of the time I am confused by what point he is trying to put across and he also tends to talk of ganging up, followers, sheeptards, and the like. None of this I see and it confounds the issues further. Easier for me to just follow what is to my mind a more sensible reading that seems to be provided by MLA.

I think some people here do "follow the heard" sometimes. But most people here don't seem to do that at all.
When people get a lot of shit like this here, it is usually from people genuinely coming to their own conclusions about them

But for criminal damage and verbal abuse, they shouldn't be punished more severely cause the incidents were aimed at gay people.

When you first came back to the site, I was civil to you to see if you were maybe different to the foul persona that you displayed on WP. Pretty quickly you tried to blackmail MLA. He had a very valid argument with you, over an issue that was at the time, current.
