Do you think it's right for hate crimes to receive harsher punishments?

To me, a crime is a crime, no matter what. All this bullshit about hate crimes is just semantics. If you murder a black guy, it should carry the same punishment as murdering a white, as it is still murder.

It's those fuckwit lawyers with big mouths and nothing better to do that started this shit.

No, hate crime is thought crime. One who murders for greed and another for race are still both murderers.
