do any of you beat-box out of boredom/stims/other?

personally, ive never encountered it before.
i have to be specific tho, i dont "do it like the rappers do" (i dont make fart-noises into my hands... ), its self-thought, since childhood, i just replicate sounds so they sound good in my head, its not made for external listening, but for my own amusement. i tend to "make" everything from slow dark beats, to melodic "techno", both sitting bored by the computer, or out walking,
when i left the military, they regretted "losing their beat-box" cus i'd be making beats to the beat when out walking in the woods and stuff
i dont try to make anything very complex, cus im not trying to impress anyone, cus, like i said, its for my own boredom, but once testing myself, i did manage to get a pretty decent billie jean intro, w the drums, the bassline, and barely squashed the chords in there.
the habit originates from the "thursday evenings" w my (divorced) dad, in his car, we would "play" lots of latinomusic acapella, "sing" the drums and guitars and whatnot.
apart from my brother, ive never met a fellow spontaneous-beat-boxer
(as a kid my brother was obsessed with making very dark bass booms, and would sometimes lay down (in public) and attempt to make the ground tremble, by going "OOOO!!!")

i tried a few musical instruments, but never had a very big interest.
i tried a drumset for lulz, but i couldnt coordinate my arms and legs very well.
when i was 15, we got a sortof "exam" in musics class (where i totally sucked at guitar), i totally owned everyone xylophoning, the teacher was totally nodding it out, playing his guitar, i was the last one, so noone else got to enjoy it, except for a classmate (one of the few who didnt laugh at me on a regular basis)
as 16-17 i made random midi recordings, distorted and messed them up, and made "experimental" stuff...
my brother however made a lot of music, using both keyboards and music programs. his intentions were always to make beats for rap, but he ended up making (amazing) electronica (which he considers sortof gay), so he was always dissapointed, while i was always extatic :/
nowadays he doesnt bother much w it..

happened a few times when im out walking, i round a corner, step right in front of someone, and im all "ka-pom-pom- -cough-cough-sneeze.urmh. :)"

I don't tend to do it when I'm out - more when I'm at home. I only really do it when I'm completely relaxed i think

uhm. no, mostely because im not a wigger. i masturbate for self stimulation, :thumbup:
or i flap my hands SOMETIMES, but only in the privacy of my own home. i cant be doing that shit in public! >:(

Sometimes type my thoughts in the air. Well, maybe more than just sometimes. Not the same thing, but just felt like adding my weirdness to your thread.

I sometimes make full orchestras in my head, sadly I don't know how to properlly translate them into actual notes due to being rusty at keyboards.
I sometimes leave the synths self-running to make odd noises for hours on end, helps me relax.
