Plus the fact that bathtub gin and other homebrews added to that total. And the idiots STILL won't allow states to legalize pot. :duh:
-
hat was 84 years ago.
how many did they allow to die in 911
-
I knew they denatured ethanol with methanol, but I didn't know about the other poisons.
-
I knew they denatured it but not with this in mind. My grandfather was a state certificated chemist then and used to test what the police found I found his book and all they had were the percentages of alcohol not the impurities in it. Most street drugs are the same way who the fuck knows whats it them pot is probably the safest but you still have to deal with some shady people to get it. Legalization of it would be a good idea

The authorities are the real criminals. Too bad most people don't realize it or are willingly to do something about it.

:2thumbsup: :indeed: By the way… that was a totally useless and unethical experimiment IMO. :violin: and the results we’re just as expected. Even though all procedures possible to create a biased result where probably implimented.

Weren't you recently razzing someone about being a misanthrope?

Yes, and your point being??
-
It gave the impression you view it as a negative.

:scratchhead:
I'm still not catching your drift. Why wouldn't I view being misanthropic as negative??
-
Your response to Rage made me think you view it as a positive.
Guess iit's you that confuses me.
:scratchhead:
Why would you view misanthropy as a negative?

Will go first since you asked first. In an effort to avoid never ending discussion of the definition of subjective or abstract words like bad or evil, will use the word 'negative'. If you agree with Rage's statement and the statement in your signature, then you agree there's an intrinsic negative in the foundation of humanity, and the existence of this negative is a fundamental truth. The acceptance of fundamental truth is logical, and misanthropy is a logical response to this acceptance. Logical responses are positive.
This could be fun. Now you go.

Aaah, OK I see what you're getting at now. The confusion, I believe, is the sense in which I'm using the word. Directed towards Soph, I was using it as a synonym for sociopath (i.e. someonw who lacks empathy). I felt that sociopath was too strong of a word, so I used misanthrope instead. Directed towards Rage, it was a mere acknowledgement of how hierarchical behavior in humanity is often destructive.

*pout* Will make you use that black belt yet.

Sounds like the infamous Tuskegee "experiment."

"The biggest threat to America today is not communism. It's moving America toward a fascist theocracy, and everything that's happened during the Reagan administration is steering us right down that pipe ... When you have a government that prefers a certain moral code derived from a certain religion and that moral code turns into legislation to suit one certain religious point of view, and if that code happens to be very, very right wing, almost toward Attila the Hun... "--Frank Zappa
-
Sounds like a prophecy slowly coming to fruition, although a few words need to be changed, but nevertheless.
Seriously, shit's messed up. Now they're trying to scare people with the threat of 'nuclear terrorism' again; also deciding to mention their recent nuclear policy declarations, (which is all actually a subtle jab against Iran, and to rally for war like they did with Iraq), I mean please. ::)
-
Frank Zappa liked to engage in hyperbole it would seem.
-
They are worried about Hezbollah obtaining nukes and using them against Israel. Oh noes.
-

Actually it would seem he was the enemy of those who engage in hyperbole. Like the PMRC and the US Congress.

Sometimes its just brutal, complete honesty that makes people like you. :green:
