Everyone should be allowed to buy those. :eyebrows:
-
That's very interesting, I would like to test a couple.
-
Almost to nice looking

I take it the idea is that the lever lifts a magnet out of a central cylinder and the ballbearings drop all over the place? Does it have a timing mechanism?
-
It probably has a chemical fuse of some kind.
-
Aww, it's a real hand grenade, isn't it? Someone should make my magnetic ball-bearing grenade for paint-ball and making a mess around the office.
-
Yup, it's real. Did you think I'd post a link to a fake grenade? ;)
-
It's a perfume spritzer, Dummy!
-
???
-
It's actually brilliant, because the action and trajectories of those little balls of danger can be somewhat predicted using fluid dynamic equations for close range work. Not so with primitive frag' grenades in common use.
I can see a future where I could hand hold a directional grenade that would devastate several attackers at once!
-
That's what I say. They should be available to anyone. You could call them "Freedom Pearls". 8)

You can do that already. It's called a sawn-off shotgun.
-
Damned, I can't forgive myself for not buying a shotgun in Norway when they were license-free, but I didn't know that back then. :-\
