Title: Whither goes today?
Post by: Queen Victoria on May 28, 2012, 11:51:41 AM
A few weeks ago I was pondering the value of our "instant" lives.  We want what we want, when we want it and how we want it.  It seems to be so much more about "ME" rather than a partnership with family and friends.  There seems to be less of a feeling of contentment in life these days.  I was particularly focusing my thoughts on the results of the sexual revolution.  That it has had such an impact on the family, workplace, sports, etc.  Anyway, this article in the Daily Telegraph caught my eye and I thought it was worth posting.

I think that it's an interesting article but I don't really agree with the author.

I could not finish the article, because of the panicky tone.

Some how hyped up language make my brain go in ignore and shut down mode. Happens also with hyped up commercials.
