I've been eager to listen to the techno electronic stuff lately, so can anyone here recommend me some good albums to purchase? Thanks.

Anything by Boards of Canada. Depends what type of stuff you're looking for really, its a massive area.

here (http://www.last.fm/tag/electronic) you go - have a browse for sub-genres, listen to some tracks. You'll soon get an idea what interests you.

Yes, I second this althought I know nothing about the genre, but I do like BOC.

Electronic artists/projects I'm particularly fond of:

Four Tet, Massive Attack, Leftfield, The Prodigy, Astral Projection, Recycler, Underworld, Infected Mushroom, Shpongle, Scientist, Concord Dawn, Ed Rush & Optical, Shiva Shidapu, Hallucinogen, Aphex Twin.
