My question is: After he gave Putin his blow job...

Did he swallow?

Many expected this, but it's still one sorry state of affairs.  :(

It's reported he's spending his day trying to back-peddle his statements now after the outrage from BOTH sides.

I will go back and see where you all asked the same question of Obama in relation to Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei. I am sure you never held Trump to a different or unreasonable standard. I am sure of it

Ever the apologist.

No, just not a fan of ideologically selective outrage. Either it is bad across the board or it is the way of things.

Make the case to me that Obama was simply trying to get on with Iran and considering that they are home to and supporters of terrorists, AND they a big international player both with influence and with some nuclear capability, then having them on side is better than not and giving them a lot of cash that US owed in return for a promise not to increase nuclear capabilities, is a good thing or a necessary evil, then I am happy to apply that standard.

But it MUST also apply to Trump.

If you are saying look Obama screwed the pooch in the Iran dealings and it was not worth the effort to try to appease the regime leader over there AND Trump likewise should not try to get on with Putin because Putin (and by extension Russia) is NOT Trump or US's friend, they are enemies and Putin is a straight up killer, I can go along with that too.

Either position is fine but they MUST be applied equally without ideological partisanship. That does not make me an apologist

Canadian snark:

Canada cuts out middleman in US trade war by negotiating directly with Putin

MOSCOW – The Canadian government has relocated its NAFTA trade negotiations to Russia, a diplomatic maneuver that will eliminate US President Donald Trump as a middleman.

Five Canadian members of the trade mission to save NAFTA diverted their plane from Washington, DC to Moscow after Trump’s press conference in Finland.

“Rather than negotiate with an erratic and contradictory proxy like Mr. Trump, we’d much prefer to have the ear of someone who has a real pull with the US Administration,” said Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs. “We can end this trade war if we start complimenting the Russian leader on his manliness and ignore how many journalists or opposition leaders he’s killed.”

He ready did in their first meeting, put up sanctions, expelled diplomats, rebuked NATO for not contributing to the defence against Russia and such.

He did not shoot Putin or commence war with Russia nor did he sell off 10% of the UrAnium

Maybe he should have done one of these things.

Because there wasn't any.  There's zero evidence.  "Highly likely" and a "high degree of confidence" are not facts.  The FBI interfered in the election.  Saudi Arabia have Clinton money through her foundation.  Israel controls every election and US foreign policy but no one says a word.  The intelligence agencies lied about Iraq and 9/11 and they are lying now.

I can't believe the times we are living in.  The cracks are starting to show.  We do not live in a real democracy.  Trump's win still have not been accepted and it has been over a year and a half.  Brexit has not been accepted and it's been over 3 years.  Corbyn still has lots of frauds trying to remove him.  Trump was elected on improving relations with Russia but that is not tolerated by the war industry.

Where did the Intel agencies get their information on DNC hacking? Crowdstrike. Did they personally.examine the servers? No. Has Crowdstrike ever made claims of hacking by Russian hackers before, with any.other customer? Yes. Did the Ukrainian defence confirm or denounce this reporting after their own investigation? Were the alleged Russian hackers the same alleged hackers that hacked the Ukrainian defence according to Crowdstrike? Does Crowdstrike have an anti-Russian animus? What think tank does their founder belong to? Is it pro or anti Russian? What is his nationality?

Though only one year since article 50 was invoked. That alone seems to imply it's moving forward. Is the two year time frame beyond article 50 unlikely to happen?

Of course only the very stupid would believe that after:

1) Strengthening NATO's spending
2) Strengthening US Armed forces
3) Kicking out 60 diplomats
4) Arming the Ukraine
5) Railing against Germany for their energy agreements with Russia

That Trump was subservient or controlled by Russia. In fact, such idiots saying this should be laughed at in their faces.

Obama big concession to standing up to Russia was what? Blankets and socks to the Ukrainians when Crimea was annexed? Being told to back off when they interfered in the election? The sale of 10% of his countries uranium?

Yup, yet none of these laugh-in-their face stupid people ever said Obama was a stooge or subservient or controlled by Putin.
