Title: roulette
Post by: McGiver on August 20, 2006, 03:23:59 AM
we are taking the kids to vegas for a couple of days (we are leaving in 7 hours).  so if anybody has any special numbers they would like me to play, then speak up now.

i will be willing to put a $10 chip on any numbers suggested.

Ooh what fun!
What will the kids be doing while you're gambling?
I have a friend who lives in Vegas, and he tells me that ANYTHING is possible there.  Are you planning on taking advantage of the possibilities?

I fail to see the fun in gambling your hard-earned money away.

But that's just me.

In order to understand the gamblers motive you need to consume roughly a half a bottle of rum.

i was calling you a fruit machine.

Why can't you just cut to the chase and say I'm a fucking weirdo instead of using innuendos?

I went through Vegas with my daughter once.  Children are not permitted anywhere near any gambling tables or slot machines there, but there will be other fun things to do.

we are going to go to cirque de soliel.
and we are staying at excalibre, which is built like a castle.  the girls think they are princesses, and  they have tons of kids type things like hourly magic shows, and downstairs they have a ton of carnival like games.

Old Woman: "Are you two heading to las vegas?"

Beavis:  "Yeah, we're gonna score."

Old Woman: "Oh, i hope to score big there myself, i'm mostly gonna be doin is sluts."  *she is chewing something, she means slots*

Beavis:  "Cool, are there a lot of sluts in las vegas?"

Old Woman: "Aww, there's so many sluts in las vegas, you won't know where to begin."

That will be a lot of fun for them.  I think we ate dinner there at the Round Table and it was very good.

My husband is a mathematician, so he only likes to gamble in fair games, and there aren't any in Vegas.

Playing the field in craps is a fair game in some casinos, but it is not at any of the casinos in Vegas we saw.

If you know how to play craps, it is a lot of fun.

ok, so the numbers i remembered were:
2-nomaken
13, 17 and 28-lucifer

so i went up to the table and was going to put $10 on each number ($40 total), which a hit would have yielded $350 bucks.
i chickened out and decided to do one at a time.  the #2 hit on the very first play.  dammit, Nomaken could have yielded me a tidy profit of $310, but i am a pussy.
