I don't know if everyone is the same but I often hear about people with specific preferences.
I have been listening a lot to Rap/RB and hiphop. Really like Flo Rida

but then I listen to

But now maybe some ELO...
I am varied in most respects. No real preferences.
-
I'm the same. I can be listening to black metal one minute and Australian 80's the next, then some Enya, then some trip-hop before some Katy Perry :P

Enya...that takes me back. :) (Glad I am not alone)

She's still recording stuff believe it or not. She released a new album late last year.

That is trippy. I remember listening to her in my little Datsun about a million years ago, give or take

I am the same way. Having older parents (almost 40 when they started having us) exposed us kids
to a lot of "older" music, and my perpetual mental adolescence keeps me interested in the new stuff too. 8)

My preference taste in ladies is varied too. :eyelash:
And in music, and in men, and in food and in ....
Maybe I like change? :zombiefuck:

They call it Dunc's Law. I read about it during one of my thousands of hours on here. :tard:

I consider myself a liker of all sorts of music and as of late I like listening to classical music (via radio) too. (http://www.intensitysquared.com/shoutBox/img/emoticons/eek.png)
An uncle of mine (bag of shit, btw) told me, almost thirty years ago, that as one grows older one starts to appreciate classical music more and more. I laughed and said no way (or sutin' similar) butz..
Um, carry on..

Yeah, we had a member here years ago who championed his preferred type of pretentiously arty/edgy
music, which he admitted might sound like "boring crap" on the first listen. I said that if my first impression
of music was "boring crap," I wasn't likely to listen again, no matter the pedigree or "cred" of the musician.
I vote with my ears. Maybe I'll be a little embarrassed if it's considered pop fluff, but if it's good, it's good. 8)

Dave Barry, in his "Book of Bad Songs", mentioned that music tastes is very subjective. I have my likes and dislikes, as does everybody else. And that is 8)

I like my music like I like my women. Angry. :zoinks:

I like my gophers stuffed. :zoinks:

I like my gophers stuffed. :zoinks:
Years ago, at my first job, a work friend mentioned excitedly that she was having shrimp
stuffed with lobster for dinner. My father said, "That's like a turkey stuffed with chicken."

I like my gophers stuffed. :zoinks:
I ate like a big ole pig today. :eyelash:

And your cheek pouches are neatly packed with snacks for later?

I like harsh noise.

Being the 50-year-old daughter of parents who were almost 40 when they had me,
I grew up hearing a lot of "old person" music, and I will listen to the Percy Faith Orchestra
alongside "harsh noise." :headphones:.

I am diversified. My dad liked Fats Domino, Blondie, and Jimi Hendrix.
My mother developed a taste for Eminem at around 62 when she found a couple of CD's of him in the used car she bought. She though he was awesome.

I thought she was awesome. I remember the time you posted about her calling you about
some disturbance in the neighborhood, then sitting at her kitchen table with her gun! :headbang:

With a cup of tea. Waiting.
I really miss her.

I like the work of Beethoven all the way to Bon Jovi. My music tastes are all over the place. However, I dislike rap music and a lot of modern pop.
-
I like some rap/hip-hop, a few country songs, but overall I don't listen to those genres at great length.
Country music in bulk tends to bug me. And the Top 40 station on the radio at work gets old fast. :thumbdn:

Your mother was kickass! I love it that she had a gun in the house! :arrr:

She had two favorite handguns.
S&W .32 long, that she used for snakes and the possible small intruders.

Walther PPK, for backup...and because James Bond had one in Dr. No...and she said it was badass.
