I sleep naked.  Unless it's cold; then I'll wear clothes.  But only 'til I'm used to the new temperature.

You know what? Wearing silk jammies sounds awesome, and i'd do it actually if my normal body temp wasn't around 99.

When I get home from work, I change into old clothes ( T-shirts and sweats ) which double as my pajamas.
I don't see the point of changing clothes yet again and having separate pajamas.  Too much laundry!  :P

I was kidding, though. It's made of cotton, not silk. But I like it. I have a pretty low temperature at night.

The "thermostat" in the brain is a bit different, that's all.

I have had as low body temperature as 35oC or 95oF  :orly:

What are the winter temperatures, where you live? And how much do you move, train and run about during the days?

Last few nights, I slept in a nightgown (big shirt) because I had stiff shoulders from the wind coming through my window, right on my neck.

But prefer sleeping in the nude. Wind direction is changing now, so, despite it being colder, I will probably sleep without shirt.

I almost never sit still. I run instead of walking almost every time i'm going somewhere. In the summer it usually stays around low 90s to high 90s. Winter 25 to 35. During the winter I just waer a long sleeved shit and pants. Sometimes if its in the lower teens i'll wear a jacket.

How much do you eat?

You make me think of one of my kids, before puberty hit her. No icepacks in summer, but for the rest a lot like you. I got stopped in the streets when she was a wee one in a push cart, for not having her dressed properly. I would then ask people to get of their bikes and feel her hands, so they would know that covering her in duvets and what not would be killing. People were astonished to feel her warmth. Her healthy body temperature is below average though. After puberty hit, she did start using covers on her bed, and wearing thicker clothes. She started eating less, and gaining weight too.
As a six year old, she had to eat more than recommended for a full grown man, to maintain weight.

Ironically I used to sleep in the basement in the summers when I was younger, but I still slept in pyjamas, though with short sleeves.

Oh tons. I never skip a meal, and i'll have seconds and third helpings most of the time. I normally eat a very large breakfast because eggs and bacon and such are the most fun to cook, at times i'll have maybe four fried eggs with a half a pack of bacon, with some oatmeal, vitamin, three glasses of orange juice, etc in a single meal.

ADHD is the best friend of a work-outer!
Sorry if that's not the case, it just reminds me of a neighbor I had who had rampant ADHD, and used this to work out like a madman :D
My brother also worked out at the time, and is very tall, twice this guys size, and every time my brother would make a huge work-out meal, this guy would feel inspired/challenged, and sprint off to make a similar meal, and eat till he burst :D
Fun! :D

Actually I don't have the ADD. They thought I did when I was a little kid, because I constantly got into fights and would just get up and walk out of the classroom and whatnot, but I had no trouble at all focusing on and completing tasks. I had the focus of a full grown man when I was a kid, and i'm a fucking machine on the job now.

I don't know, man. I just got born with a fiery body.

Just say "pjs"
In Norwegian its "pysjamas" anyway :M "sj" = "sh"

I used pysjamas when I was little, but now I sleep in my boxers. Wearing more clothes would just be too warm and clammy.

If i go to bed i am in the noddy.  I like to feel my Egyptian cotton bed sheets against my skin.

I sometimes sleep downstairs on the sofa (various reasons) and I wear a long baggy t-shirt.  If it is cold I wear over the knee socks.  I have a sleeping bag tucked away behind my sofa for such occasions. ;)

Is there a difference between sleepwalking and sleep-underwear removal? :tard:

Long-acting Seroquel was the culprit. It made me do strange stuff. Like taking out a bunch of linen from the cupboard and putting it on the computer chair. Like getting up and telling Ceilidh that the cats weren't happy with the carpet. Like getting all the capsicum out of the fridge and.... Ceilidh caught me at that and I woke up and sheepishly put the capsicum back. And the underwear thing.

Now I am taking regular Seroquel and nothing has happened so far.

Thanks. :)
I still haven't had any problems now that my dose has changed. Very glad!

ambien is just fucking WEIRD stuff.

Makes people sleepwalk, sleep-all kinds of other things best not done whilst non compos mentis, makes users trip in a weird dissociated kind of way, temporarily rouses coma patients in vegetative states previously.

I've been prescribed it for sleep a couple of times, as well as the other two 'z-drugs', zolpidem (imovane) and that other fucker, I forget the name of it now, but it was totally useless..err..zaleplon, thats the one.

Both ambien/zolpidem, and zopiclone made me have some weird experiences, full on trip out with the ambien with almost no memory of it afterwards, and with zolpidem, weird ass noises, pinging, ringing sounds, noises like one would see in a cartoon if a giant spring suddenly uncoiled, all out of the blue. Zaleplon was just totally useless

Lestat, do you ever have sleep paralysis?  I do occasionally, with interesting ... sounds.  :orly:

Yes I have had it quite a few times. Never fails to scare the everloving goddamn shite out of me. Usually it likes to go hand in hand and team up with PTSD for an even more (figuratively speaking only) pant-beshitting experience.

Why.

Just curious.  The mention of ringing in the ears sent me off on a tangent.  :nerdy:

I hear ringing in my own ears during my episodes of sleep paralysis, so I got curious.
I love to compare symptoms of various conditions. It's one of my speshul interests.  :2thumbsup:

Do you experience the sleep paralysis a lot? I fucking hate it when it happens, its always scary as shit.

One interesting thing I've noticed, is since I got one of those e-cigs, and as a bonus, dramatically cut down on smoking, is if I use the thing heavily just before going to sleep, I'll wake repeatedly, and experience the most vivid and lucid dreaming ever, alternating periods where I'll sleep, dream like crazy, then wake up for a brief period before falling asleep again and repeating the cycle.

I figure its probably mostly to due with the cholinergic effects of nicotine. When I tried the acetylcholinesterase inhibitors galantamine and huperzine A as nootropics, they also fucked with my dreaming in a similar way.

I have sleep paralysis rarely, and always as I am dropping off to sleep rather than as I awaken.
That helps, since the paralysis is easily shaken off at that point.  But it's still creepy.  I usually hear a
high-pitched ringing in my ears that gets louder and louder, accompanied by chills down my back and a
growing feeling of dread, as if I have to stop the ringing before it gets even scarier.  Occasionally I semi-
dream as well.  Last time, I saw my ( living ) brother in the room, then my late mother, not like ghosts,
more as if I were dreaming while almost awake.  It was a little weird but not scary like the ringing.  :twitch:

With me its the opposite, happens on waking, if I'm lucky enough to wake from it.

Always feels like there is something or someone, unseen and not known coming, and the urge to run like hell from whatever is coming my way, along with a feeling of claustrophobia (I don't suffer from this problem awake) and absolute pants-beshitten terror. Try to run, but find my body won't respond.

Doesn't happen very often, but when it does, sometimes its left me really shaken up due to the content of the dream.

It's time to go looking for my sleeping shirt. The one with the cute giraffes on it. Wind is chilling my shoulders at night, if I put my arms away from under the covers.

I sleep in yoga pants and a shirt so really it's the ultimate lazy outfit from bed to hey you don't look so bad to answer the door and I can get shopping done without worrying about holy heck you look like you just got out of bed...I do brush the hair and deodorant etc. but it is very very convenient  :2thumbsup:

I'm beginning to think that my daytime clothes need upgrading.  The fact that they can double as pajamas
says something about their informality and lack of quality.  I think I'm tired of looking like a slob.  :apondering:

More formal looking clothes can still be comfortable, especially pants.

I wear pajama/lounge pants all the time when it's cool. Normally with cartoon stuff on them like hello kitty or angry birds... or in outrageous colors, paired with fuzzy neon socks and soft t-shirts.

I have come to terms with the fact that I am a slob. But at least I am an outrageous, colorful slob.

i used to sleep in my clothes. my solution was to wear pajamas around the house and put on clothes to go out. my pajamas are sweatpants and a t-shirt or shorts and a hawaiian shirt.

I sleep mostly in my pajamas. I will sleep naked in the summer and all year around I tend to take my shirt off when I get hot.

I'm not sleeping. And I am wearing clothes.

Soon I will strip, and I hope I will be able to sleep after that.
First I will have to make my bed. Shit, forgot about that.

But, my bed will be clean and a pleasure to be in.

I'm the same as Grey Area, and Kitt. I prefer to sleep stark bollock naked, with just the covers on. Sometimes if its really buggering cold, I'll wear my dressing gown, with the waist cord taken off but I do prefer to sleep bollock naked, the only thing worn being the facial piercing.
