swedish chicks are way way hotter

to be COMPLETELY and CRUDELY honest, i always notice something... odd... w icelandic chicks, like theyre hot but in a weird way. which brings my mind to how varied a 300 000 gene pool can possibly be.

yup, and hint #2 is that they still speak ancient norse :b its all a big "pride" thing, but nobody stops to think "hey... norwegians and swedes also spoke old nordic, but people coming and going, influx from elsewhere slowly changed the language, as everywhere on the planet, except jungle tribes"
(hell even jungle tribes make sure to shift around, to avoid stagnation)

ah well, i guess theyre happy tho

I didn't even know she was Icelandic. I just thought she was weird. Although that's incredibly tame clothing she's wearing given things she's been pictured in in the past. ;)

It's not the gay part, that really doesn't bother me.

Robots = machines

machines = no emotion, built for a specific function or purpose

machines engaging in acts that involve human emotion = cannot process

in my story the protagonist encounters an android on a planet where all intelligent life has long since died out. the android cant but just sit there (his systems are messed up) and repeatedly call for mechanics, cleaners, guards and whatnot. his fellow androids are outside, stuck inside a compact 10 metre layer of stagnant mud (or theyre likely long since washed out into the ocean), which makes the protagonist laugh to himself :]

he leaves the android there, to call for guards and mechanics

You should watch it and find out. The movie hits strongly on many of the same points Mary Shelley did in Frankenstein, or, The Modern Prometheus.

No, he seeks out the blue fairy (from Pinocchio) to make him human, so his mother will love him and take him back.

He finds the Blue Fairy, but she is really a statue that is underwater and he endlessly repeats the wish to her until the ocean freezes.

Eventually, a long time later after humans are extinct, some evolved aliens rescue him and tell him as the Blue Fairy that they can't make him human. They can recreate his mother from her DNA from a lock of her hair he has saved, but she will exist only for 24 hours and can't be recreated again.  He has one perfect day with his mother and she tells him that she loves him and has always loved him, then she drifts away.

meh, the 1st movie is a classic, i like it for its action. its not really a pretentious sci fi in that sense "we are robots with feelings! boo-hoo!"

plus, i fail to see the enormous intelligence robots require to march in squares, and shoot people down w huge guns :D
terminators are okay :D

i LOVE red dwarf and Kryten ;]  but then again, all of that series is very tongue-in-cheek
