Title: My ex is going to hospital
Post by: Fun With Matches on November 14, 2016, 02:19:43 AM
He is in a lot of pain. He *never* visits the doctor, let alone a hospital, so this must be serious.

We're friends again after we split up earlier this year. I'm really glad we could be friends, because well, firstly he makes me LMAO, and secondly he shares a lot of my POVs. He's a bit of a hypocrite still, but I forgive him, because he entertains me, and he's put up with a lot of my crap.

But yeh, I really hope he's OK.

I hope he is soon well again, and motivated to become more proactive about his health.  :viking:

Thank you, couldbecousin! I'm just waiting to see what happens today, I don't suppose he'll be able to update me until later. I doubt he'll be more proactive about his health, he is a bit particular and fussy about food for instance. He's never gone to the doctor when I suggested it. I didn't mention it to him more than once or twice, he doesn't need that.

Good luck, I hope it is something relatively benign.  :)

Thanks. It turned out not to be a hernia (he's had one before), but "probably" some muscle inflammation, that he can take drugs for until it gets better. He has been taking anti-inflammatories, but the pain has been getting worse.

Muscle inflammation from an injury, or from a chronic condition?  :nerd!:

Exactly. I worded it in the best way I could to him, "Maybe you should do some research, since they're useless".
