Can you show us your tits please?
-
& the rest? U did say U'd post your nudes right away! lols
-
^ Is zomg going to change its color scheme? Because red really does suck. It's probably a little kid site anyway.
-
What would Bruce know about that?
-
He said he would ask if they would change the color, it doesn't matter, some people love the color red...but they are evil usually.. :autism:
-
Ask Adam

Well, it's in the options, if U sign up? Whether U'd think it a 'little kid's site' or not, most of us like the colour scheme but I thought there would be others who'd want a choice, anyway. Feel free to ask Adam himself about it, of course, since he is still in here, too!
Meanwhile, you're not answering the Qs here? lols

What kind of design work do you do?
-
Do you find the whole Comic Sans vs. Helvetica debate boring?
-
Apart from classical art which is my favorite, I do different kinds of design work, including textile design, beaded bags, needlepoint, digital/computer art and stained glass designs.
-
I like papyrus
-
I prefer more simpler, neutral fonts personally. Always have took a minimalist approach though.
Do you ever show any of your work online?
-
I was thinking about putting up something for my avatar.
-
That'll be interesting to see. I do some artwork myself, but due to college work I haven't had a good chance at it in a long time.
-

That sounds like a lot! I hope you do put some up here. Classical as in watercolours &/ or oils?
-
Don't know if you can see it but this is a quick value study thumbnail.

yes
-
Looks nice, in terms of contrast, technical skill and composition. Now I know you're talented for sure. :P
-
Thanks...I'm very critical and never satisfied with my work, but thanks.
-
I'll put up a different one since you think that's a joke.
-
I never said it was a joke. :S
I know that feel. I'm often like this with my photography and music, although I could manage to keep focused to keep on going. I put off drawing/painting etc. for a while because I lacked the attention span to finish it without that frustration, as seen with these:

(http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4015/4712900919_817f37cf3e_z.jpg) (young me! :zoinks:)
-
The edges are at least straight on this one.
-
Good work Schleed, it does take a lot of devotion usually to get good at it. I have never applied myself and gone off into design work more instead.
-
They're quite different in style & I'm no art expert but both looked good, to me, Meadow! Yours too, Schleed! :plus:
-
I said you have talent, I tend to be honest about these things. :P
I like that one too. Lines have a nice flow to it. I've dyspraxia so I actually find it difficult to draw things in a clean manner.
-

Any egs of design work, then? That takes artistic talent, too; if it suits you better, it may also be a 'better' choice, in a practical sense, for getting paid for it?
-
I wasn't sure with the smiley but thanks nevertheless. I'm never 100% satisfied myself with my work. I regret not being able to go to school and think it's kind of late now for that.
Thanks Bruce. :)
-
Um, you're 21, according to your profille? I just don't know enough about art to be sure how much money you could make that way or how much 'school' you'd need! Maybe, if you do design as a main job, for now, you can do your other art as a hobby & see how it goes?
Can't really advise about the 'never being 100% satisfied with your work', apart from you're a perfectionist & art isn't too good at subjecting itself to critical scrutiny. Artists tend to be their own worst critics (from happening to read book blurbs & so on)!
-
lol, I didn't know my profile says 21. For the classical training is what I'm referring to. I would have liked that. I tried several times but had too much interference and sabotage from those close to me to get far and now it's a little too late for that part of it. I did fine on my own but I would have liked formal training. Some artists wish they had no formal training because outside artists aka self taught artists' work is highly sought after. I'm just someone who would have greatly benefited from formal, classical training.
-
21 is my karma.
-
This is one of my stained glass designs, from a series I did of Native American portraits.
-
Yeah, sorry! Karma's 22, now, though! I prefer drawings & paintings but the stained glass seems good. Sorry about the problems, seems some of the now famous names in art & classical music struggled in their own lifetime. The design work at least pays, though?
-
The last is a textile design.
-
Since I like geometrics & blue, I love that one! What else do you like doing, then?
-
photography
-
Going to put any of that up? Anything particular you like photoing? (Just invented a word, lol!)

Is this dog a Pekingese with a short haircut? :apondering:
-
^ I think it's really good, especially if he would go all the way and finish it.
-
I can't see any of the images. I am especially interested in the stained glass one as my mum does leadlighting. Right now she is making lamps and has made jewellery boxes and display pieces before.
I am also interested in the geometric one, I like that kind of thing.
-
Hi Renaeden, this is the stained glass image I put up before.

More like a friendly terrier, IMO, not being a dog expert, cbc? Schleed will, hopefully, clarify that for us! lols
-
This is the textile design.
-
I am not seeing them. I did see them posted as your avatars for a bit though, so thanks. :plus: They are both really good. :)
I think I am having some trouble with my computer or something.
-
I took it back down, sorry.
-
Meadow, please, post some of your art in a thread here? Then we can appreciate it properly!
-

Same, can't see any of the images either. Alas. Was interested in the glass one too. And textile, well a nice piece of beautiful fabric is a delight.
-
I took it back down, sorry.
Maybe I'll be able to see them a next time.

Looks like a long-haired Chihuahua, a Papillon with small ears, or a depressed Pomeranian to me (an actual dog expert).
lols

Why?

It's a long haired chihuahua.
-
Ah, well! Seen a lot more terriers around than chihuahuas. It friendly, though?

Thank you, a very cute model! Whose dog is he? :)
-
I took it back down, sorry.
Why?
A number of reasons.
-
It'd be so much nicer, to put some of your art in a thread? So people could see more than one picture at once? Please?
-
If you don't learn how to have friends as a child, can you learn it as an adult? Thats my question. They say being able to learn things like this drops off as you age. That together with the already inherent social problems fairly well limits any possibility along with a growing dislike for the human race, which forums have only contributed a great deal to. That's a tittle bit about me.
-
Sorry, Meadow? To some extent, you can still learn but I'm hardly in any position to offer advice on 'making friends'. I'm sorry for your problems & I honestly wish I could help with them. :(
-
It's okay, I'm really used to my problems. :finger:
-

It would help if you didn't use :finger: in response to someone's sympathy. Just saying.

Ah, OK, the humorous :finger: ! I also like the double-finger: :fingers:

okay...herp derp is laugh out loud...how stupid!

That's more like it, Meadow! Do post in some suitable support place (not here, for you, I think) or something. :finger:
Can't find the 2 fingers 1 & I've got this irritating YIM buddy, back soon! :mischief:
-
Ah, well! Seen a lot more terriers around than chihuahuas. It friendly, though?
It's a fucking drawing. It's likely very calm and laid back, but might give you a mean paper cut.
-
Gosh, U R funny, Hubert!

Do you enjoy Bruce's spamming of your thread?

If you post queries like this here > http://www.intensitysquared.com/index.php/board,48.0.html (http://www.intensitysquared.com/index.php/board,48.0.html) you will be more likely to get serious responses than in other fora.

Have you noticed, you've got 3x the karma I have, Meadow & you're the one talking about leaving here a lot of the time? Hmm?
-
Is it a Helmantel work in your avatar? Looks so similar to things he makes, and I think I saw a piece of him with almost the same glass jug on it.
-
No, it's from a Chardin painting.
-
Thank you.
You may like Helmantel's work too.
-
Thanks, I will have a look.
