On The Waterfront (1954) was nominated for 12 Academy Awards and won 8, including Best Actor Marlon Brando, Best Supporting Actress Eva Marie Saint, Best Picture and Best Director Elia Kazan. In it Terry Malloy goes from being a gangster scumbag in training to a man with principles. Almost 60 years later it is still worth watching.

THIS MOVIE WAS SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT. I hated it, and it lead me to despise Rachel Weisz for awhile. She has since redeemed herself in my eyes...not that it matters to her or anyone else.

This is a movie I already saw, and I don't normally watch horror thrillers, but this one was really good:
