At least Americans are descended from noble traitors, as opposed to being the offspring of petty criminals and thieves. :P

I was actually in England once, in the passenger compartment of a C-5. We never got out though (I think it was night anyways) so I never set foot on British soil. :dunno:

US has more naturally cool stuff, definitely. But it is obviously a lot bigger lol
I would rather live here in the UK though personally
-
UK has far more history, so it's a far more interesting place to me. You won't get the likes of Whitby in the US. Well you might, in some theme park or something. :zoinks:
I'd love to go to the US for the landscapes though. And to gorge on ungodly food.
-
^ That is true too. I am way more interested in European history than american history

I had a similar experience when I was on a Flying Tigers stretch 8 to get to my permanent duty station of Rota Spain, it landed in Mildenhall but they didn't let us through passengers get out of the plane.

If you ever get your fat Irish ass to the SF Bay Area I'll buy you a steak.

It depends on your interests, personality and goals in life. I lean a bit more toward the UK because I don't live there and I'm sure my vision of it is a wee bit too rosy. I did visit in 1976 for 2 weeks, but a tourist's impression is different from an inhabitant's.

Though you can just travel throughout Europe like we do state to state; that's way cooler.

Not really, there is a checkpoint that you have to travel through.
-
Do people who live in Europe generally have trouble passing those points?

Not within the EU, if you are a EU citizen. And they're not everywhere between EU states either, I think. Between the Nordic countries there are usually no checkpoints at all, except at the European Routes (E6 etc.).

Yes. Thought it was like that. Fying is likely easier. Thanks.

Not all Australians are the offspring of petty criminals. I think I am third generation Australian, my distant family coming from Wales and England.

That's actually a very intriguing and colorful family history IMO.

No most aren't but the assertion is made again an again. Why explain? :P
