ive played fallout 3 tons of times, it runs fast and smooth, no overheating or anything.
just to eliminate memory or any other such isues, the game runs fine.
BUT THEN
i started a new game,
i managed to accidentally hit Andy the friendly robot at the very start of the game, idunno if thats relevant, but thats when the problems begun.
Andy flees into the next cell, where the guards pop some civilians, and there Andy runs over to the guards, and the game crashes.
ok
i obviously managed to corrupt something by doing something i wasnt instructed to do by the storyline ::)
BUT THEN
nothing works
i tried to load a save from before i hurt andy, the game crashes.
i tried to open a NEW GAME... and it crashes :S wtf :(
oh and i just did a massive cleanup also, oblivion, which used to be heavy on my system now works smoothly.
i tried to open FO3 again, and now it wont even open. in a 20 minutes it went from working fine, crashing once, to not working at all :S all cus i accidentally went outside the fucking storyline? :S

im of course looking elsewhere for similar issues, but people either get the game to work, or they dont. 99,9% of the cases i find are retarded underperformance issues
what vexes me is when it crashes so catastrophically in such a short time, from working fine, to not even being possible to open it :(

I dunno, but I rented Crash Time: Autobahn Pursuit for the Xbox 360 and the game is crap. There are several sets of missions called "cases", in each case, there are several missions. The worst part is that the missions are boring, repetitive, and frustrating and there is no save points! If you decide to retire before completing the case, you will have to start that case all over again. I'm mailing the fucking game back to GameFly, I should have read the reviews before renting it. I thought it would have been a good game because I thought you get to drive cars, semi's with trailers, trucks, and tanks and go around a city, crashing into other cars with parts flying around, kind of like Burnout. Nope, it's all mission based, the world is open, but there's no sandbox mode whatsoever.
Sad part is, I have tried almost every racing game on the Xbox 360 and the only ones worth a shit are Forza 2, Forza 3, and the underrated Race Pro. All of the other ones are mediocre games covered up with "great graphics". GRiD sucks, DiRT sucks, Need For Speed sucks, FUEL sucks, ATV vs MX Reflex sucks. Is it me or does 95 percent of the Xbox 360 games out there are just mediocre games plastered with *SQUEAK* "ZOMFG GR34T GR4PH1C5!!!"

I'm sure the computer experts on here will use their skills to replicate the problem, dissect the code, and determine the cause of your problem and help you "know what caused it."
