Title: Lakeview Terrace.

I remember seeing the trailers for this movie back in 2008 but I wasn't too interested in seeing it.

Today, I saw the documentary of the real life event that inspired the movie, it's absolutely chilling.

Imagine that a cop moves into your neighborhood and it turns out that he's a racist sociopath. That's exactly what happened to the residents of this area. They lived in constant fear for years before they were able to get him fired from the police department and get a judge to throw the book at him.

Here's a list of things that the real cop, Irsie Henry, did to his neighbors.

The truly scary thing is that after this was all over with, Irsie sold his house and disappeared for a few months, then showed up at a restaurant his neighbors were eating at, then disappeared again. AFAIK, no one knows where he is.

How racist do you have to be to be fired from the LAPD for racism? :GA:

He actually got fired for using L.A.P.D. computers to access the private information of his neighbors.

The link doesn't cover his worst crimes.

He pepper sprayed a neighbor who had a restraining order against him, then he made death threats against the same person.

He's probably adopted a new identity and is living somewhere else.

Just be on the lookout.  :police:

You should have checked.

They need double checking lately, those Google bots.
