I feel the same way about some other things that all women supposedly love: manicures, pedicures, spa treatments, and facials. :thumbdn:
-
soaps. :green:

Yeah, I don't use any soaps when I bathe. I pretty much hate them!

I was thinking soap-operas actually. :zoinks:

Massages. Nothing would make me tenser. :hide:
Me too! I give good massages apparently though...I don't mind touching....I just find massages too much for me to receive.
Soft slow caresses are much better for me.

I've never been one for girlie shopping trips, ever.
The only time I enjoy looking at things is with my daughters because they have the same "OK, I've had enough, get me out of here NOW!!!" gene as me. So we can float for a little while, then it becomes necessary to go. I think why we do it together is because we are really the only ones who understand that feeling, so we are all prepared to leave once we get the word from one of us that we've had enough.

Dancing in public. :oranna: :soph: :fuckyeahdance: Maybe if I drank I could do it, I dunno.
-
Nuts. My mum thinks I am a great wuss for not trying foods where nuts are an ingredient. I can't help it if even the thought of them makes me feel sick.

Avondvierdaagse.

Tripe
Stewed with onions, tomato gravy, seasonings. for some odd reason, add some potato chunks and serve over rice.

Oops. I actually love tripe. I must have an old age moment with this thread.

Avondvierdaagse.
What's that?
Somehow there are all kinds of four day physical exercise things in the Netherlands. Biggest is the "Nijmeegse Vierdaagse", third week of July. Second is the "Drentse Fiets 4daagse", begin July. Nijmeegse Vierdaagse is a four day walking event, walking 30, 40 or 50 km a day. It started in 1909. De Fiets 4daagse is about cycling, 30, 40, 60, 80 or 100 km a day.
Those are big events. But there are smaller events happening in almost every place every year around May in the evenings. Evening 4 day challenges. Mainly for walking and swimming.
Was obligatory to participate in the avond wandel vierdaagse, when I was a kid. Hated it, the walking in groups, the chaos. Liked the routes, but rather walked them on my own, without all those other people taking those same routes during the same two hours on the same day. Horrible.
Evening walking four day things offer 5, 10 and 15 routes.
Last week was when it was organised in our village. The last day all walkers are welcomed in with music and flowers and, in this village, lots and lots of candy.

Thanks.

Wearing shorts in hot weather. I don't care how hot it is, I wear pants!
-
The less clothes the better in hot weather. :zoinks:
Smelts. They are a New Years tradition around here...my son absolutely loves them and gets some from a friend every year.
Then he re-heats those nasty little fuckers in the microwave and I spend 2 weeks trying to get the smell smelt out of it. :roar:
Really don't like the smell of fish in general and eat very little of it...especially if it's caught locally.

Violent movies. How can anyone enjoy them?
As in scary or as in Lord of the Rings?
-
Some already mentioned here but I like to add.. tattoos and piercings. I don't care for them at all.
-
Unexpected loud massive parties.

Never cared much for tattoos either; from a distance they all look like some sort of blight.
-
S'mores. Bad chocolate on stale graham crackers stuck together with an overabundance of white fluffy stuff.
-
Ditto for s,'mores. Crispy bacon. Walk mine slowly through the kitchen.

More of the contemporary sorts of films which show realistic and/or gratuitous violence. Fight Club, for example. I absolutely can't watch that.
I'm the total opposite of Jack, who likes horror movies.

Mm, yes I don't like horrors either.
