This afternoon, my internet connection got screwed up, and although I'm still able to connect, I've been getting speeds of what I can only guess must be averaging 0.1Kb or some such awfulness (it should be 5.6Mb), with frequent errors and pages outright refusing to load. I called BT about it, and they think it's a problem with the line between my house and the exchange, possibly related to a recent speed upgrade. They said to call back in 24-48 hours for more information, but at the moment there's no indication of how long I'll be stuck like this for.
This is the first time I've been able to access intensity since the problem started, and there's no gurantee that I'll be able to read replies to this thread. I can use my email intermittently, so if you want to contact me, email me at peter.mackenzie@gmail.com.

Nah, the customer service was first class, and it sounds like they're going to see to it pretty sharpish. Intensity is squeaking along tolerably at the moment, probably because it's a pretty lean site, but I can't get into the drivel (http://www.duncsdrivel.biz) or on the spectrum (http://www.onthespectrum.com). Even google is pretty pokey and not very reliable.
