If someone wants to end their lief but is unable to do it by themselves, should they be given the help they require ? Should it be legalised?
-
With proper legislation and medical support, absolutely. :indeed:
A person should have the choice made available to them.

What if they are young and/or healthy, Loup?
-
Young and/or healthy people shouldn't have the right to end their own lives if that is what they want?
I agree with Loup, and not just because I fancy her.

Sorry, I am thinking in terms of Euthanasia when a person is terminally ill and it is deemed by an array of independant experts that they will never recover.
I should have clarified.

That seems like a statement with a question mark on the end. What do you mean right? Not like it can be stopped. You implied assistance.

If for whatever reason they were unable to do it.
I guess that would mean they weren't 100% healthy, but I thought by "young and healthy" you meant people who weren't terminally ill or very very old
-
Yes, that's what I meant, not ill or old.
-
I believe everybody should have a choice. If they are sure they don't want to live then they should be able to end it.

I like how euthanasia is been dealt with here. Having it legit, makes that it is not hidden anymore. And that makes atrocities happen less too.
