Title: Official thread for other aspergers "related" conditions.
Post by: Mr Smith on November 19, 2009, 10:43:59 PM
I think this needs to be documented. Here would be good, then I can later make a video on it and other people can share their views. Examples include: "I have in itch on my left leg... is that related to aspergers?"

"Are aspergers people more likely to be skinny" etc

Here is number 1. All these quotes are from WP.

Are aspies expectionally good at PhotoShop as that of NTs?

I've read in a couple of places that it's stereotypical for girls with Aspergers to be obsessed with horses.  I was and I mentioned this to my psychologist and he said is was a dead give away! I was so obsessed with horses I could draw an extremely good likeness from memory (of course I've only ever ridden a horse twice in my life).  I still have a soft spot for them (I even have drew a couple last year) but I'm no longer obsessed.  I have a soft spot for dogs but didn't obsess over them like I did with horses.  So what is with this stereotype?  What is it about horses that attracts Aspie girls (over other animals or other possibilities) and any female Aspies out there - were you ever obsessed with horses?

Alot of people I know of who have Asperger's have been born through Cesareans, and I'm just wondering if there could be some mild connection. My brother was born 11 weeks premature, and is now 11 years old, he has just been diagnosed with Asperger's and he was also born through cesarean. Anyone else hear noticed some sort of mild connection, or does anyone else here have similar experiences... Or is it just a coincidence?

I've been thinking about it and for a relationship to go well wouldn't the person with Asperger's have to be the submissive one in the relationship and need a dominant partner? I mean not to generalise but I think that would work the best way. I mean people with AS would also be naturally somewhat  submissive (both male and female). What does everyone think?

This should be interesting. I can only imagine what insanity will emerge as the search goes on. To think I used to have the misconception of Autistic people being superior to NTs, but when I was on WP for a while, I realized that it was no better, if not worse in some respects. Same package, different wrapping. People sometimes just need to see what's really going on to correct such misconceptions.

In the Baby Sitter Club books, Mallor also loved horses and Jessie too. They didn't have AS. My mom wanted a horse too growing up and she doesn't have it either. But she never got one because they are lot of work.

I'm convinced my hair colour is a very serious related condition.

Enhancing all those aspie moments. :blonde:  :asthing:

And my aspieness is enhancing all my blonde moments.  :asthing:  :blonde:

And I've seen the combination so much more. All the aspies in my off-line group are blond.
It's a very serious double condition. Someone should do thorough research.

Interesting, mine is slightly greying now.

(There is a market here, for quacks; hair-colour and comorbities. I may be better in that than in starting a cult)

Did you start as a blond kid?

The blondest of my brothers is just as weird as I am.

After reading about peadratric bipolar disorder almost off of the symptoms fit me as a child.   I was super physicaly agressive as a child and I was a girl.   I'm watching Temple Grandin's HBO movie right now and when the other kids would call her names or laugh her I knew I would have potentialy killed them. The campus security people would never have gotten away with taking my machine away like that and the dean would have had something coming. My parents say that if you took it personaly I was a very mean baby.    I was always getting into fights with other kids and got such a high from it.    If I felt a teacher had slighted me, I did not feel any quit about attacking her.    I would also instigate fights just for the thrill.   After my parents took me out of public school to homeschool me I didn't feel on edge all the time anymore and could let my gaurd down. Still, I won't hesitate to defend myself against an attacker or pervert if I have too.  I sometimes actualy wish someone would jump me, just so I have an excuse to attack.  Is this kind of extreme agression normal to autistics?

I always loved rivers and watching water flow down the street after and durning a rain storm. I love the look of water in a fish bowl and the sound of a fish tank.

Is anyone else drawn to water? Is this common amoungst other autistics?

He doesn't have a webpage. He was just a member on the autism forums and he was in the yahoo groups. He got banned from Aspergic for the reasons I listed in my last reply here. He once joined Zomg and then he ran when he saw a thread about him there. He was at WP and made about three posts and left because he saw a talk about him there too. Members were complaining about him. But if I ever find a webpage about him, I'll let you know.

I mostly agree with Fiona. I've read plenty of posts on other sites connecting just about everything with their aspergers. It's kind of funny and sad at the same time. I grew up liking football. That hjad nothing to do with aspergers, although the fact that I could reel off statistic after useless statistic possibly was connected to my AS.

Yeah, my preferences are one thing, but the obsession attached to some of my interests/hobbies/etc is beyond what normal people bother to do.   Everyone has their favorite things, just Aspies take it to the extreme!

I would like to add that you finding that to be strangely arousing has allowed my penis to stay erect for an even longer time than initially anticipated.   I am going to have to find a release now.

Unknown aspie traits that are 100% true!

Aspies are better at mastubation. When you've fucked up social skills, more time to wank off to necrophilia eh?  :zoinks:

Aspies tend to be ugly transvestites. Look at GA.

Aspies bitch and moan about every little thing. Even over parents telling them to clean their really messy and bad smelling room.

Aspies use Linux because it makes them feel superior to normal computer users. Because jamming your penis into the floppy drive and banging your head against the keyboard to update the kernel is superior to clicking a mouse on MiKKKro$oft Winblows.

Aspies love to rape anything that moves. Including dogs and buttplugs.

Aspies are either extremely Libertarian, extremely Conservative or extremely Liberal. Most are whiny, angsty Libertarians though due to their hatred of society and love of guns.

Aspies will sooner or later have a school shooting. THE BASTARDS KEEP BULLYING ME BUT IM BETTER THAN THEM!

And so on. :zoinks:

Hard to tell what their final proportions will be after weight loss, as the extra fat disguised the asymmetry somewhat, but the difference may be a cup size,
probably a little less. That's one reason I'm taking the weight loss very slowly...I like a little extra volume!

Jenny McCarthy has crush on Jesus! (http://www.realbollywood.com/news/2010/01/jenny-mccarthy-crush-jesus.html)

January 27th, 2010

London, Jan 28 – American model-and-actress Jenny McCarthy has admitted she has a crush on Jesus Christ because she loves his beard.

The former Playboy model who is currently in a relationship with actor Jim Carrey believes Christ would be a good guy to date if he wasn’t ‘dead’, reports fashion.ie.

‘I’m looking at a picture of Jesus on the wall. I would have totally dated Jesus. Love that beard. Too bad he’s dead,’ she posted on her Twitter account.

When some followers on the micro-blogging website took offence to the suggestion that Jesus was not alive, she added: ‘Ok, ok my friends. I know Jesus is not dead. I’m saying that the fact his body has ‘risen from the dead’ makes him un-datable.’

Dating Jesus obviously stayed on her mind for some time, as she later tweeted: ‘Did they do circumcisions in Jesus days?’
