I used to smoke bongs, but before and after that I never smoke/smoked. Still dont actually, cos it makes me really sick to even smell it when I walk by someone who does.

It's rich like dark chocolate.

I smoke rollies too - Champion Blue at the moment, but I have no brand loyalty.
I get my cancer from varied sources.

I only smoke weed (its been a month or so).   I only smoke bud to get high, not to look cool or for some social reason (though I like the taste sometimes).   I might just quit smoking weed altogether, as it isn't worth the trouble.

I smoked cigarettes for a short while when I was a teenager, but I got over it.   They are shit basically and do nothing for me as far as a high goes.   I have met people who quit smoking crack, but still can't quit smoking cigarettes.   I have a really hard time respecting people who smoke brand name shit that has tons of chemicals in it (Marlboro, Newport, etc.).   Rolling your own is ok as the tobacco is at least of decent quality (supposedly without the extra carcinogens that the big companies put it), but still they are cancer sticks that are usually unfiltered.   I guess you get to choose your way to die.

Used to.  When I did I smoked Camels.  Occasionally we'd buy rollies, which were a damn sight cheaper.

When I was five years old, I asked my grandmother what she saw in cigarettes and she gave me a lit cigarette to smoke.  That was both my first and last one.

when i smoked tailor-mades, i was a Marlboro girl, but had various flings with Gauloises ( ), Sobranie (black and cocktail) and More's menthol.  and when i had a cold, it was either St. Moritz or Consulate.

I have smoked pot when I was younger. I didn't have asthma then but I do now and that is probably why. I have tried cigarettes too and they taste horrible.

My asthma is bad now so I am sensitive to smoke.

Are you saying smoking pot gave you asthma? Cos I really doubt that. Weird.
Title: Re: smokers
Post by: renaeden on May 12, 2008, 05:36:01 AM
I remember smoking a fair bit of pot and then shortly after that I got a chest infection. Then another. I developed asthma when I was 18. It may not have caused my asthma but it sure didn't help!

I've been smoking for 37 years, started at 12 and smoked weed daily for like 15 years

choked on diesel soot for 25 years driving trucks on congested highways and 12 years of sleeping in truckstops with hundreds of trucks idling, did brake jobs on cars 30 years ago when they where made out of asbestes

i should be dying any day now  :zombiefuck:

Never could stand the menthol stuff unless my nicotine levels were really low. Galouises I liked, even though I liked Gitanes better.

I have grey hair all through my dark brown, thats if I let it grow out. I usually have it that short you cant see it. It started when I was about 22.

Although the grey hairs that appear in my chest hair that started a couple of years ago are the ones that bother me.

Never smoked tobacco, though I was raised in a household of heavy smokers.  Smoked pot 5 times, the last being in May of 1974.  Didn't do anything for me and it just burned my eyes and throat.   :zombiefuck:

Kayleigh and I were sitting in a doctor's waiting room when some guy walked in with a lit cigarette and then started smoking. A guy near me spoke up, "Hey man, take that outside."

Good thing the guy did but it stunk out the waiting room. I was grateful for the guy near me saying something.

Also, smoking is popular with mentally ill people. I noticed that in hospital after one of the nurses suggested that I try and make some friends. It's hard enough for me socially but I told the nurse that I don't smoke like everyone else does. She said I had a point.

My way long ago '66 Lincoln had five ashtrays (two up front and three in the back seat) and four cigarette lighters (one in each armrest).

What we now call a charge port, my Traverse has five plus two USB outlets for charging mobiles. I think that beats the Lincoln, but there is no ashtray built in anywhere. I bought one for a couple of bucks that lives in my door's cup holder.

I carry a Zippo in my pocket and I keep several Bic lighters in my car or my mini go bag that is mainly loaded with "emergency" picnic gear.
I smoke my pipes while driving, almost always.

The first couple of times I flew international there were smoking and non-smoking sections on planes. Which made as much sense as peeing and non-peeing sections in public swimming pools.

I remember when it was allowed for people to smoke in shopping centres. Now they smoke near the entrances/exits so you get a good whiff going in or coming out. *cough cough*
