Title: Happy Fathers Day
Post by: SomeRandomGuy on June 17, 2007, 10:08:45 AM
No sappy speech. Some fathers are pigfucking asshats (TM), some are not. If yours isn't, or you aren't, then happy day.

I got my dad some bottles of diet pepsi.  He's a junkie.  I think he'll like that better than he would a card.  :)

I bought my husband a new wrinkle-free cotton shirt and some socks.  My daughter made him a card at school.

I got a grill-mit my daughter made me at daycare. Then I bought myself a radio with a remote control.

But, she had been practicing and so since Friday she's been saying 'Happy Fathers Day' which ends up sounding like 'Happy Fullaffels Brey'.

That's a pretty good gift.

I need to call my dad and wish him a Happy Father's Day. I never got him anything. No card, nothing. Self centered am I eh?

A gift that just made me hungry. I now want Falafel.

I got a DVD which the kids gave me early so I could watch it last night (Tenacious D in The Pick Of Destiny) and amusing home made cards. So I took em for a walk this aft. It were good. The kids saw lots of nature stuff, including a bold wood mouse which finished its snack a foot away from my daughter before walking back into the grass.  8)

She's 2.5, that's her in my avatar (albeit, about 10 mos ago). She talks a lot, but some things are harder for her to say than others.

My dad can eat shit and die.

That, undoubtably, would make him one of the pigfucking asshats (TM) mentioned above.

Addie goes nuts for the "If you give a blank a blank" series.

Umm... there are pictures. Of animals. That makes it pertinent, right?

Precisely like that, save that her true passion is for the one involving a mouse and a school.

I bought my father a card and some CDs.  We ate at Maggiano's and I took a nap afterwards.   Went to the driving range with him and my brother (I hate golf).

My dad liked his Pepsi.  Also, his car died.  (Apparently when he got his alternator repaired, they left some of the wires next to part of the exhauste system and the wired burned.)  Luckily, his car died a couple miles from someone who could give him a ride to his house.
