i remember laughing like hell at most of the things these two would write in response to subjects.
always respected the wit.

You'll have to teach me that trick sometime... I tried to hypnotise a roommate once, back when I was at school, and only managed to put him to sleep. We didn't have a candle or a pocket-watch or anything, so I just got him to gaze into the reflection on the lightbulb (switched off!) in the ceiling, and yeah I'll blame that lack of resources for my failure.

when you say you "put him to sleep," do you mean that in a deep relaxation sense or in a veterinary way?

I mean that he had comical animated Z's emanating from his head. The hypnotism failed regardless. :-[
