I gather that some of you have tried recruiting people from other sites.
Ther's one person in aprticular that I think would be perfect for this place....... werbert from WP.
I've PM'ed him twice over there, but he seems a bit hesitant. Does anyone else know him or have suggestions on how to bribe him to come over here??

I have begged werbert to come here, I have tried to lure him with the picture association game that allows links to porn and gore. But for some reason he stays away. :'(
This is what should be done. Register a series of usernames at WP with proxies so the IPs can't be traced. Freely distribute those usernames and passwords here. Making sure people are logged in through proxies, encourage people to spam every member there known to be over 18 with invites. My guess is that we will have a 10% success rate if not more.
We could also scoop up emails from people's profiles and spam them that way :green:.

I would use my son's email but that just seems so cheap and sleazy.

I'm pretty good at starting flame wars :flamer: but it's 2.15 AM here, so I have to rest a couple of hours before starting up something like that.
Think about that it's hard to register emails from proxies; they often block that. But once you have registered a free email, you can use a proxy to send emails without revealing your IP. :evillaugh:

but with WP, everyone would win. Alex's member list would get larger, and we'd get to advertise/recruit. I suck at using proxies though, so I don't know if I'm up for it myself. Maybe when I have some time to kill I'll make some e-mail accounts though.

Actually all sock puppets are labelled as such on here so they can be restricted from voting, so if it doesn't say 'sock puppet alert' under their user name they are unique members.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. As far as I can tell Slim is the username the member uses on WP, whilst Captain brown is the user name they use on here.
The IPs of all new members are checked and any of those who already have accounts are labelled sock puppet.
If slim claims to be 11, it is possible that someone has gotten their wires crossed about this-captain brown doesnt post like an 11 year old kid, but perhaps it should be checked out.
