We just weren't exciting enough for him, once the initial drama died.

I wonder if his family were upset by his I2 obsession?

What obsession? You think just because someone's always posting about stuff that they're obsessed?

It was fairly obvious, in McJagger's case. I think he said so himself once or twice.

I tried that here (I bought a Belkin system - I plan to set this machine out in the garage for next season, get rid of the disk player and replace it with a network computer for music outdoors), but there are no unprotected avenues close enough to detect.
Ripping off bandwidth from paying customers is one benefit to apartment living, I suppose.

Where I live, the city offers wireless internet for pretty cheap, but there are lots of open free wireless internet connections at restaurants too.  Even McDonald's has one.

Yeah, like a satellite dish.

Some day, maybe.

(seriously considering the cellular network. The prices are not too bad through our accommodation program at work, using any of the Big Three. If I gather enough cash to pre-pay for two years, watch for the promotional incentives to get the hardware for free, it would only cost a little more than cable television subscription over two years. I don't know the actual speeds, but several of the young guys have this set-up and they can just grab any computer and basically "use it as a monitor" through the USB port, (Vista will sync the two in about three clicks. With XP, you have to enter proxy settings, etc.) if they need a bigger screen and they can download songs in seconds, rather than half an hour, in the case of my "Premium Dial-up Service"  Oh, and it's plenty fast enough to stream 'net video, flawlessly. One guy even has DirectTV and watches ESPN on his cellphone FFS. He likes football (soccer))
