Clear light on a slick palm
as I mis-deal the day
Slip the night from a shaved pack
make a marked card play
Call twilight hours down
from a heaven home
high above the highest bidder
for the good Lord's throne
In the wee hours I'll meet you
down by Dun Ringill ---
oh, and we'll watch the old gods play
by Dun Ringill
We'll wait in stone circles
`til the force comes through ---
lines joint in faint discord
and the stormwatch brews
a concert of kings
as the white sea snaps
at the heels of a soft prayer
whispered
In the wee hours I'll meet you
down by Dun Ringill ---
oh, and I'll take you quickly
by Dun Ringill.

Think I remember DD mentioning
this one. Always forget how good
it is, until I hear it.

Tull, off stormwatch.
very pretty song.

that explains a lot - good, old fashioned pagans, Tull.

think there's a touch of the celtic tingles there, dunc?  in potentia anyway.

Talking of which, what do you think of NMA's Impurity album? Very tingly, and lyrically one of Sullivan's better ones.  :eyebrows:

You haven't heard Stormbringer?

You could be in for a bit of a treat.

MOD:
Not Purple! I was talking about Tull and typing Purple for some strange reason.

Where's the "dumbass" smiley. I need to wear it for a while.

Sorry - mixed my Tull with my Purple at the hand. I love DP. I have them all on vinyl.

I've done a tour with the eighties version of the band. I was pretty close to gay for Gillan at the time. What an amazing talent. I know ... everyone else likes Blackmore.

'fraid i have to embarass myself completely - coverdale and hughes, sad to say.  but only cos they're pretty.  been playing them a lot recently, actually.  and "trampled underfoot", the best LZ song ever.

Frostwire is the 'staying open-source/out of the pockets of the RIAA' version of LimeWire. Its built on the same engine so its functionally identical.

Impurity was the album after 'Thunder And Consolation', circa 1990. Very good stuff.
