What do you call the bathroom in your home?
« on: July 08, 2008, 12:01:05 AM »
My boyfriend keeps calling it the 'restroom.' Drives me crazy. I grew up with that word being used in public places but not in homes. I call it the 'bathroom.'

Barry.
That's what I call the bathroom.
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

How to apologise to Scrap

I call it the toilet, or sometimes on a few occasions, the shitter. This house has the toilet separate from the bathroom, so that is why I say toilet.
Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

"Bathroom" but I do use 'restroom' for public bathrooms.
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.
I think you'd fit in a 12" or at least a 16" firework mortar
You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.

Dunny.

Mostly toilet, sometimes dunny.

Other names are: water closet, WC, dub (short for WC), bog hole, lavatory, "the facilities"....

The "little boys room", since we have two full bathrooms and the downstairs is MY bathroom.   :P

The bathroom is where you shower and bathe.

The dunny, bog, toilet, Water Closet, poofter's hangout, shithouse, John, can, out-house, loo, Gateway to Werribee, hotline to parliament are just places to have a shit.

it's coincidental that you have a dunny in yer bathroom; but I guess it can be hilarious letting go an arsetrembler while someone is in the tub.....

I've heard stories of the old days when the guys who drove the 'night carts' had the arses fall out of the cans and ended up with shit all over them.

We call them Washrooms/Bathrooms but the British seem to call them "toilets" Like the entire bathroom is a toilet!
