ffs im; fro the south
only the keeys are further south than where igrew up.
ican't identify with this kind of thinking at all
we respect women and most especially girls, where i grew up.
I found this to be mostly true as well, while I was growing up in the South.
Respect is perhaps not quite the correct word, but men definitely tended to be more solicitous of women there.
When my car broke down at night near Birmingham, Alabama and I was trying to push it further off the road, a man stopped immediately and helped me push it. Then he offered me a ride to the next exit, so I could call for help. He drove me to a store at that exit where he knew the woman who was working there and left me to wait there because he knew that I would be safe with her.
