I talk to some minors online but it’s nothing sexual but there was a minor who was being sexual with me and it made me real uncomfortable. The things he was saying seemed sexual. Then it comes down to what the court believes.  Julie Amero, a substitute teacher in Conneticut was convicted of exposing minors to pornographic material and sentenced to 40 years after an infected computer in her class started spewing porn popups.  During the trial, the prosecution was able to fan the flames of hysteria and convince the court that Julie Amero had deliberately and maliciously exposed the children to porn, and it was only after pro-bono efforts by the tech community that the conviction was set aside.  In an atmosphere like that, even an entirely innocent friendship can be twisted into something perverse and illegal by an aggressive prosecution.  If you're discussing diapers and adult-baby stuff with a minor and it can be shown that you have a fetish for diapers and adult-baby play, it would be very easy for a prosecutor to paint you as a perverter and defiler of children who actively sucks them into your perverse fetishes in order to abuse them.

Be sure not to use the sex offenders register as your hit list then, or most of your victims will be people who were cautioned for consensual teenage sex or for exposing themselves while emptying their bladder down an alley when the pubs have closed.  It will also include senders of indecent mail.
