Ew to the above joke.

I have the donor stamp on my driver's license and I have a separate organ donor card I got from Medicare. I can't remember how I got that card but I do know that I must have filled out a form to get it.

There are cases of people which have had heart transplants who go on to take characteristics of the donor.
eg. people with no artistic ability starting to paint proficiently after having an heart donated from a recently deceased person artistically proficient.
Other such examples such as athletic ability being passed on from the donor.
From a scientific standpoint I do not see this as at all surprising: the heart is not just a pump but is also connected to the nervous system and brain.

This sort of thing puts me off from donating. I find it a bit freaky.

I don't mind if some lucky person inherits my incredible abilities and talents. I'm cool with that. :zoinks:

There was a man who was declared brain dead and they were just about to harvest his organs for transplant, then he moved his foot.  I wonder how often something like that happens.

I wonder if a brain transplant is possible.

I could live in another body  :orly:

Not in a fat smelly bloke though.
