I don't think it will happen.  I had a great deal of respect for Ascan for having the courage to speak his mind regardless of the personal consequences to himself, but now I wonder if he would rather snipe from the sidelines than actually do something about it.

I have no problem with Ascan not willing to face the challenge here. Intensity is a lot of things but it's not a neutral venue. It can't be, with all its history. Aspie Trash might be, or Kevv's place, but that's something Ascan would have to comment on.

As for waiting until you're gone, McJ, I don't think so. Think of it in this way: if he did pop up, would you have the strength to stay away?

He starts a thread in callouts. Pretty soon, there are two dozen replies. Then a newbie or two registers, sees that here's a callout, there are issues, there are all kinds of accusations flying around, but this yellowbelly called McJ is nowhere to be seen. The newbies don't know who he is, obviously; for them, he's just some guy who refuses to accept the challenge.

What would you do?
