In WA? Honestly I wouldn't have a clue. I'd say it'd probably be swimable.  But I wouldn't want to try it over south east :P

Yes where you are trying to figure out if it's comparable to where I lived in Florida there tourists went in the water at the beach all winter but none of the locals

Annoying. Not that I don't like Tesla...I just don't like sharing my birthday... It's special to me. But I've little choice... I know 5 people who have their birthday on the 27th...(counting myself and Tesla)

Unfortunately no, due to it's age some of the pads have deteriorated and leak, making it difficult to get the intended note. But from what I've researched (as I never encountered that when I played Clarinet some years ago) it's a fairly simple thing to fix, I'll look into it through the local music shop here in town.

But at least I can actually get some notes, so my neglected skills haven't deserted me entirely.
