I guess. She went after my wife, with a hammer,
for example. More in terms of threatening whatever
was important to someone. So, physical violence didn't
work on me (what she could manage usually only would
arouse me), and she threatened my stuff. That got the
desired result.

get away from her, and she'd say something
like "if you're not willing to have this out..."
and threaten my games. Indeed, that's just
what my mom managed to do, in order to have
me raise a meat cleaver to her.

Essentially, my mom managed to
instigate my father to be rough with
her. With Krista, it was far more questionable
though - as though she really did want to be
abused. Love and pain become one and the same....
