Ive self medicated with most things in the past.
I mainly just drink now. I can't even smoke without getting completely paranoid. Maybe it is the strain of weed, i bought a large supply that doesnt seem to agree with me. Used to be good for me - kept me off the booze.

I like valium actually, and downers. Have that sort of thing now and then.
Of course opiates, but only once every blue moon nowadays.

I don't do anything or take anything and don't even particularly like getting drunk. I may be in the minority.

I rarely drink alcohol, don't take medication (aside from asthma medication and antihistamines which I sometimes use). Don't use recreational drugs. Don't have sex. Don't listen to shit music either.

I eat food though.

Yeah. Sometimes, when I really bored, I cut open a hole in my stomach, scoop out a couple pounds of flesh, and fill the space up with pure crack cocaine. Doesn't do anything, though.

I don't drink or take non-prescription drugs. I have tried some things in the past. My medication costs a lot so I don't have any money to support a self-medicating habit. :P

I'm the same as you, Pyraxis.

I drink rarely, but never to get drunk.

Booze, mainly. I tried a lot of things (mostly
legal, and less understood), when I was young.
Less curious now, really.

I don't do shit.

When I drink it's usually been because I'm out with people from work and everybody is expected to have a pint or two. I don't like the sensations of being mildly drunk (I've never been really drunk). Even if I wanted a lack of inhibitions, it wouldn't be worth feeling sick and queasy.

Does taking the maxium amount of Ginseng recommended in the chineese physican's manual count,  when have feel pretty good count?
I noticed I get a tollerance, and its a bitch coming off, but this time it was not.

I got a bottle of ginger in my house, and that has almost the same effect on me.  I have not got a tollerance with that one, and it makes me horny to.

Ginger does seems to have same effects everytime, when ginseng just dosen't work as good after awhile.

Does eating tons and tons of foods which you are allergic to , and you have final stage skin cancer count?

I feel like I got to have when I eat alot of it.  I threw up at my party eating spegehhti,  all over my bed.  Cake was my first word, might as well have said tin, cake is rich in tin.
Wheat appears to make mouth sores and grumpyness.  Dairy makes makes mucus production.  Both may cause constipation, but neither cause that much weight gain.  Its more common to be overweight with a wheat allergy, because wheat protein promotes the production of a fat storage harmone, insulin.  I didn't loose anyweight either, but there was one month with I lost 20lbs without effort.  I went right back to normal.

do you self-medicate?

I have taken to drinking a couple of shots at night before bed, again. I am not sure if I actually sleep better than I do when I finish the day with a coffee or two, which definitely puts me to sleep better. But, I seem to remember my dreams much more and I have more waking dreams with this method.

The only problem I experience doing this, is that I awaken with a START every morning and fly out of bed like a wild man, well before sun up and I am severely over-stimmed, pacing, fidgeting, and sometimes talking to myself on the worst days, until I get some coffee into me, to calm down.

This is better than the reverse would be, for work.

Now, I need to find something, besides alcohol, for this nighttime mental coercion. I tried Melatonin, but that did not work for me.
