Package from Soph came in the post today.

Soph is thoughtful. It's nice to get things in the mail from friends.

Good and bad, really.

I was planning to veg for a bit in front of a movie, butt down, feet up, full stomach, mind off, but instead, the whole house is shaking.

It is NOT the kind of shake I like (using my stereo to shake the house), because there are huge implements across the street, tearing down and hauling away the remnants of the house that burned a few months ago. I knew it was bound to happen eventually, but why not take the house down while I was at work, instead of doing so on one of my treasured days off!?!??!

All that seems bad, but in the long run, the horrid smell of a burned house will go away more quickly if they haul it all to another place farther away from me.

Once it is done, THAT will be great!

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

For some reason I like that picture. Should I be concerned?
