My short call wound up @ 13 days worked 140.25 hours total. This takes care of my credit card bill for my Paris trip and leaves fuck off money.

Now you can start packing your berets!   :eiffel:
Too bad I can't send you a fresh croissant, but I'm sure it will go bad in transit. :eiffel:

Oui, quel dommage!   (emo)
Don't fret, I'll eat any I get prior to their getting stale.

That almost  makes me feel better. Then I remember I don't have any croissants for me, and I  :bigcry:  !
Buck up little buckaroo.

I'll try to be brave. If I use my imagination, I can almost taste those buttery flaky layers!  :viking:

Or eat a bagel and think of New York City and all the restaurants.
I saw bagels referred to as donuts with rigor mortis before.  :green:

I'm afraid I'll lose a tooth eating the.  Thankfully McDonalds will let me order the steak and egg biscuit instead of a steak and egg bagel.

Yesterday: One of my students came back to music lessons after the Christmas break, and while I was speaking with his mother, he walked into the lesson room and started playing his recorder. His mother's comment: "Do you think he wanted to come back to music?"
Made even better by the fact that he's autistic and I know he has trouble transitioning back into things after a long break, so coming back enthusiastically after 4 weeks means he really enjoys the lessons.
You must give really good lessons. :)

:) All I do is give accurate information in a manner tailored to my students' learning styles, and I treat my students like people and with respect.

That is what all good teachers should be like. I always liked the music teachers at school.

Today I went and met up with my friend in the city and we both had smoothies.
And also my mum cooked a delicious dinner of roast meat and vegetables. I am glad that there are leftovers.

I slightly changed a cookie recipe at work and it was a change for the better!

Have you tried soaking raisins in rum before adding them to the oatmeal raisin cookies?  Really tasty.

Rum...

Actually these were hermit cookies, and I increased the molasses from 1.5 cups to 2 cups.
It made them softer, chewier and more flavorful. I am still happy about that, it made my day.  :)

Got me arse kicked.

I am very impressed with the boy!!
