I'm worried I might be one, seeing as  how my biological father and his father and the father before him all had schizophrenia.

I wasn't completely clear whether, when I was DX'd with AS, that he wasn't also DX'ing me with Schizoaffective Disorder, or if he was actually DX'ing me with AS or what. But I might be on the Schizoid spectrum, which I could see. I can be pretty fucking paranoid if I don't keep it in check.

I think the agitation and fear that I have been having recently are manifestations of it, it seems like somebody is out to kill me when I walk during the night, I've never felt that way until very recently.

Though it is in your family, it doesn't mean you will get schizophrenia. Worrying about going nuts can actually make you go nuts.

I used to think I was going schizo. I thought I was hearing sounds that weren't real because people acted like they couldn't hear them or they didn't know what I was talking about when I asked "What's that sound?" "Did you hear that?" and I thought I was hearing things that weren't real because I misunderstand people and I freak out about it because I thought it was a hallucination. I also would think someone said something but they never did so I also would freak out about that too. Then I saw A beautiful Mind and I saw I wasn't not going schizo and I wasn't anywhere near it so I stopped worrying.
