Ive noticed it is always hardest to talk to Brits on the internet. Not that I don't LOVE them, but they confuse me sometimes

Years and years ago I when I first started chatting online, I was talking to a nice young man that told me about how he would to the bar and get pissed.

I thought to myself, wow, I cant believe drinking makes him so ANGRY.

The objects on the left are Chips, and the objects on the right are Chips.

If I call them crisps, it's only on this site so the differentiation is made.

I don't know if they are both always called chips across Australia. The only differentiation, say if you were talking to someone and said, I feel like chips...you might say 'a packet of chips' for the objects on the left, and the objects on the right would be called 'hot chips', if asked to clarify.
