nobody wants to fall to the dreaded second page of any forum on a topic they still want to talk about.  and who doesn't want to talk about themselves.

i think that we are in danger of losing a few ask away threads to the doom of page 2.  and to save people the embarrassment of having to dig out their highly unnoticed thread, should we split the ask away forum into 2 forums.  and always maintain just a single page worth per forum?

as it stands right now, they are fairly popular (we will be more than an ask away site, promise).
and after odeon starts his, someones going to always get bumped.

anyways i lost steam in the middle of this argument, so you discuss the logic.  and lets figure it out.

the could be sister boards.

The problem with a pile of sister forums is that they would take up extra unnecessary lines on the main page. Easier to adapt the code of this forum so that it lists more threads before looping onto the next page? I'm fine with that, or with some people's threads getting pushed onto page two. Though really, the most recently modified ones should be bumped to the top, not in any kind of alphabetical order. Not ure if that's exactly what's happening or not.

So have a huge ask away forum on a single page. I'm sure we can all live with it, right? Of course, when this site reaches 500 members, it's going to be one big forum.  :D

i do want to clarify.
i wrote this when my thread was at or near the top.  it is just happenstance that i am in danger of falling to page #2.  pure coinkidink.
