I didn't enjoy my last pregnancy all that much either- it was at a tough time in my life- so we won't be having any more kids.   I could have had pills once they were born but unfortunately I was told if you breastfeed its better to stick with the injections.   

I hope everything continues to go well for you both.  :)

See, I keep getting conflicting information on whether the Coumadin or Lovenox/heparin is safer for breastfeeding.  I guess I need to do some independent research on that, because that's an issue I won't compromise on.  If it has to be injections, it will be.

From what I can tell it seems that most of the research suggests that the Warfarin is considered safe for breastfeeding now, my youngest child was  4 last week so its likely that the advice I was given (that I had to continue with heparin injections if I wanted to breastfeed) is out of date.  I'd agree that doing some research yourself would probably be a good idea, at least then you'll feel sure about the treatment you decide to take.

My sister had to have those injections for her last pregnancy (she is currently doing IVF to get pregnant again).
I think she called it lupus anticoagulant factor. I am not quite sure.

Yep, lupus anticoagulant is what I have too.  Which is just an odd name, since only something like 10% of the people who have it actually have lupus.

Indeed.  Also the main photographer.  I did a brief stint as a professional photog at a portrait studio and have been fascinated with the (pardon the pun) subject ever since.  The day I can afford a digital SLR and some accessories...watch out!  :P
