   No really, I was just speaking medical BS, a pleasant fantasy however.  I was throwing out stuff I'v seen about venomous creatures over the years.  Funnel Web SPider bites are horrifically painful for humans.  The Black Mamba is one of the worlds deadliest snakes.  If I wanted to kill somebody fast, a bite from a Blue ringed Octopus or a dish of Japanese Blowfish (Fugue) IMproperly prepared would do it nicely.  Neurotoxins are the way to go.  It's amazing how psychotic a little medical terminology can sound if applied in the right conversation.

Actually, so am I.  My preference is to have certain people suffer the same humiliation/embarassment, disgrace, that they tried to heap on me!   And live to remember it.   I don't suffer fools, and as Odeon's signature adds, "I like to see fools suffer."  Especially if they're arrogant, pompous and jerks.

I'm a registered nurse and no, I don't watch medical shows.  I live the the drama as it is.  I'm heavily into the sciences, so a lot of it's random knowledge.  Most of what I know is from my science books and magazines and shows on AnimalPlanet, Discovery, History and News Programs.

Oh if they are to remember it you have to hit them 10 times harder so they dont do it again. Then they never forget. As for people being arrogant, i dont complain about that myself, its nice for people to have a good view of themselves.
Being a registered nurse explains a knowledge of medicine and science. As for the programs, I think they have got very dumbed down over the years, so you cant learn as much any more from them. Are you a practising nurse, or just registered?

At the moment, I'm not a practicing nurse.  I still have my license on active status in case I have to go back to work.  But, I'm just a full time househusband and stay home dad until Amber goes to college.

Oh yes, I'm a geriatric and hospice specialist.  I get along well with my elderly patients.  They appreciate my weird humor and gentle respect for them.  My goal is to work part time, 1.) to keep busy 2.) to keep my skills up and 3.) so I can avoid as much as possible the sociopolitical crap of the admin/medical staff that happens in a medical facility.   The "peter principle" is a big part of medical facility life.  And it has nothing to do with our own Peter here on I2.

I have a few dozen Amanita muscaria pop up every time it rains, here. Wanna talk about scared ... my son loves mushrooms and he knows that lots of what we eat comes from the garden. Hopefully, his (inherited) attention to bio-science has saved his life. He can now correctly identify about twenty fungi on his own. He is eight.
