I've probably mentioned this elsewhere and it was last weekend but I bought air conditioning (split system). It cost me nearly $3000 for both parts and installation. We have to wait until January 19th for the installation though, because at this time of year they're really busy. February and March are usually the hottest months so that's fine with me.

Two small rugs and a sheet set for The PR's room

Two boxes of Penzeys spices - one for my sister and one for me.

Swedish shoe people.

In my minds eye they're like Christmas elves only a bit more Viking.  And slightly drunk.

How did you know?

A lot of smart home stuff. I spent a couple of days setting up a Raspberry Pi and some open-source software to run stuff in my home. It's mostly a toy so far, tbh, but it's deductible for the company.

Speaking of deductibles, I also decided I needed a new laptop battery.

Three pairs of leggings and 2 Tshirts today.

Yesterday, 2 pajama sets and a pair of shoes for The PR.  Four face masks, a pair of leggings and some groceries.

A stack of lightweight drawers in a metal frame for $9 at the Salvos. The drawers are in rainbow colours which I like.

Don't have a lot of money at the moment, so I've been selling stuff in other to buy anything non-essential.

Sold my Canon 70-200mm f4L IS lens to help me buy a Sigma 150-600mm lens. It's bigger and heavier, but I now get much more reach in terms of zooming in when taking photos, especially for wildlife. Here's one example I took recently - I could have done similar with my 70-200mm, but I had to get in much closer, meaning I was previously far more likely to scare them off! https://www.flickr.com/photos/ashbashphotos/50688515492/in/photostream/

Also sold eurorack modules and a Novation Peak synth to help towards the lens too, got replacement modules with the rest of the money.
