I was for a time obsessed with work and energy efficiency and took lots of pics and did a lot of research on that subject.  This is from one of my pickiest customers his houses use about half the normal oil for their size

Just noticed this. Both. Didn't care for the former,

I played both and a few more I can't remember all through college.  SFB was my favorite also tried teaching the kids but at the time they were too young may try again soon.  It won't be the same as in college lots of beer and pot went with the game.  I drove ninety miles to a hobby store that had SFB volume 3 when I was bored one summer and on workman's comp with a severe cut on my foot I could hardly walk but driving was fine.  Everybody thought I was nuts :green:

Game went through a lot of incarnations.
Started out as a little pocket game.
I started with the designer's edition,
which had a quick sequence of expansions.

Then they started going with things you
could put in binders. I bought two separate
sets of rules for that (the last was called Captain's).

Kind of gave up around that point, as although
my wife enjoyed, I couldn't get her into a campaign.

My favorite race was the Hydrans. Yourself?

My wife hates all scifi I tried but to no avail.  I like the Gorns and the Interstellar Concordium which was out right about when you stopped i think.   Always liked plasma and PPD and favored  groups of small ships

The ISC was around. I thought that they were
pretty underpowered. The drone users were
the scary ones - at least in fleet battles.

My wife loved the Klingons. But, she saw
their weakness, as soon as she had to
deal with more than a couple ships.
