The original context of this thread is lost on me. Does this mean that odeon took a while before he posted his first post in his own forum?

The board wasn't started by me. I2 was the brainchild of several people, most of whom no longer post. I took over the webmonkey duties and site hosting from Duncvis.

It looks like Odeon lurked for a couple of weeks or so after he joined before he posted here, but Dunc was the webmonkey then and McJagger, Eamonn and Queen Omega were the admins.

I lurked pretty much from day one but I didn't join until several weeks later.

I lurked around here for months before joining!  This place used to scare me a bit.   :hide:

No need to be modest. You know you were just spending that lurking time trying to figure out a good way to not intimidate the members of this forum with your cosmic powers. Although we still fear you from time to time ...

Any chance of seeing your original avatar?

How long did it take you to go from a withering violet to a post whore  who would eventually get 50,000 posts? Do you fear CBCs* greater per day post whoring super powers?  :zoinks:

I think I started with this one.

I can't be arsed to look for the early statistics but the way I remember it is that I felt right at home and posted a lot.

As for CBC, I don't mind. Being #1 was never a top priority, except for a race to 10,000 (?) with Cal and, earlier on, a similar race to 1,000 with Kevv.

That's the one.  I thought for a short time at first that it was your picture.

I came here and then promptly took time off 3 aspie forums, WP, here and zOMG. When I came back I settled in pretty good, the only thing I don't like about here is that I am capable of fucking off lots of time here. That is why I periodically take time away.

It was meant to shock people, and I think it did.

This was my second, before I chose Lennon. Dunc gave me the inspiration.
